First quarter

The seeing was really good last night. For this time I leave the mineral moon composition for a black and white and grey. It is a shame my picture does it not show as gorgeous as it really looked! 

Taken with an Esprit 150 and an ASI1600. Baader RGB filters.

Great work and details!!  I do notice quite a lot of artifacts in middle terminator area on the full file at astrobin.....  love to offer some ideas on where that is coming from, but I have no idea!  Most of the image is superb.

Thanks for flagging that. Something odd happened in Pixinsight when converting from .fit to .jpg for saving an Astrobin compatible file. Piero

Great image, unfortunatley here and there some odd artifacts.. otherwise it would have been superb. now it's just great 😉
