Time observing/ imaging

Will be starting up soon but I am interested in how many hours on average per year do you get observing / photographing the Sun per year.  Also do you normally get any hours in winter or is the sun too low. It will be for me in Shetland. I am also interested in where you live, England, Wales or Scotland - many thanks

I get probably four to ten days a month where the conditions are OK.

obviously don’t know about the UK.
