APT exposure doesn't stop

I've been running a Light plan in APT in which the subs are all supposed to be 30 seconds duration.

However, every now and then, a sub just doesn't stop after 30 seconds, it just keeps going on, and on, and on...

This is with a Canon EOS1000D. I've definitely selected it as a Digic 3 camera.

It's a real problem for me and I can't continue to use this superb software unless I can find a fix.

Any ideas?

I used it with a 1000d for years no problem, what version are you using, @Yoddha may be able to help .

The latest - 3.82.

I've had advice from the ATP forum that it could be to do with the USB cables or the power supply to the camera.

Anyone else had a similar problem? In the meantime I'm going to replace the USB cable and try running the camera on batteries (I'm using an AC adapter), see if that helps.

I powered mine from using a usb 5v 2A dummy battery adapter, possibly a  usb cable ,fault power fault usually shuts camera connection down from my experience.
