M81 LRGB

This has been ground out from UK skies in between the recent Atlantic storms that have turned Shropshire into England's largest internal waterway,  hopefully only temporarily.

If you saw my Luminance only post you will know that I appeared to have lost a lot of RGB data due to my own incompetence, thankfully I found them after some diligent searching through the drive's Recycle bin.

This is 7.56 hrs of integration, calibrated and stacked in APP, processed with StarTools and GIMP.  I rejected quite a few inferior subs from all 4 channels, another benefit of a dual rig, previously pretty much everything would go into the mix. The binned data seemed like a good idea but not if you start zooming in on the image!

Capture Details

L 108 x 120secs ASI 178 binned 2x2

R 40 x 120secs ASI 178 binned 2x2

G 39 x 120 secs ASI 178 binned 2x2

B 40 x 120 secs ASI 178 binned 2x2

Dual Esprit 150 on Mesu 200.  This has been said many, many times, but if you can, get yourself a permanent observatory for your imaging set up. I would still be taking the Lum frames if I was still setting up and taking down.

Thanks for looking.
