HunterHarling
I added RGB to my previous luminescence image of NGC 2903. There was some loss of details when combining the RGB to the L layer in Pixinight, I might have a go at using PS to do the combination. For the PS users out there, what is the best way to do LRGB combination in Photoshop? astro mick
A nice image indeed.Well done. What i do is the fully process both the RGB and Luminance seperately. Then load both the colour and the Luminance into the photo-shop window.Convert the Luminance into RGB mode. (image/mode/rgb. Select the colour image and paste on top of the converted Luminance image. Go into the layers window and change the blend mode to colour. Sometimes this will fade the colour somewhat,so you could increase the saturation a littlle prior to this using the match colour programme. I,m sure others will do it differently and better. Mick.
