M81

Riding high in the sky at the moment is the lovely pair of Galaxies M81 and M82.This is an image of M81 I took a couple of nights ago.

It consists of 16x600 luminance and 16x600 H-Alpha.I took 9x600 in the RGB.

Imaged with my ED80 and WO 73.Cameras were the Atik 314l+.

Fully calibrated with Bias/Darks and Flats.

I would have liked more data,but the wind became quite strong.and I had to pack up.

I don't know much about AP but this looks great!

I am yet to find M81/M82 in my light polluted sky. I'll give it another go soon (Yes, this is highly controvertial but I want to beleive we'll have some clear nights soon)
