IC-342 Red Channel

I know this is just a mono image--not even Lum, just the red channel.  But I am quite pleased (and surprised) that it came out as it did.  i was expecting a dim, dust hidden galaxy as its name (the hidden galaxy) suggests.   I hope the internal structures remain in the HaLRGB image.  This is a follow up to the 13 hours of Ha I posted for this image.  Due to the Moon and the weather, much time has elapsed since I began.  I hope I will be able to finish the project before the Moon gets bright again.   Or before something breaks.  I discovered a split in my focus controllerpower cable...Fortunatelly I was able to fix it---but cables inevitably fail, and when they do, its hard to diagnose which one someties.
