Full Moon 12-11-2019

Quick snap of tonight’s Full Moon with iPhone 7 through Celestron NexStar 8SE with 20mm eyepiece (I think). I used a NexYZ gizmo. I had a group of nine GCSE Astronomy students up at the Observatory making drawings of the Moon, but they preferred using the gizmo with their phones! This image has a touch of the Impressionists about it!

Nice shot, after trying unsuccessfully at the eyepiece to capture a shot of the transit of Mercury with my handheld phone, I clearly need a NexYZ gizmo!
