A chilly day 33-45F but almost cloud free.

I wasted hours trying to capture the low contrast disturbed area near the limb.
Neither the 90mm nor the 180mm would do it justice in WL by the time I'd mangled it in Registax..
Not much to see in H-a either. Gave up and caught the prom.

A prom by any other name? Around 10 o'clock or NE. Dreadful seeing!

Nice to get something especially this time of the year.

We get a good couple of days and then it is back to endless grey.
I suppose I should be grateful. Because it lets me work on the practical issues.
I don't get much done when I spend the entire day [imaging] in the observatory.
It's a good job it gets dark and I can go back indoors.
