Horsey & Flame - a couple more subs

I revisited this tonight, I was not happy with the flame neb portion, I felt it was a bit too smoothed out. I also did a median combine and added in the 8min sub with the plane. I also added the 5 min sub that was adding the amp glow but I added some 5 min darks this time. This brings it up to 37 mins. Finally I did not do a 'neat image' noise reduction as this was what was taking all the detail away from the flame. All in all I think this is a more natural looking image, not pushed quite as far, this processing malarky is a very steep and never ending curve :shock: Finally you can now see AlnitakB in this one as before it was drowned out by A!

Anyway what do you think, is it better or worse? I wont take offense at any comments, hints, tips etc etc

Just getting better Craig, lovely smooth image, HH stands out really well and is nicely defined

Very nice Craig. The HH is not as defined but you are right it looks more natural with Alnitak not so bright. I think this version is much nicer, thats my opinion anyhoo..... :-))
