Sky tee2 and extension pier

Still waiting for delivery of the sky tee2 and eq6 2 inch tripod. The eq5 to eq6 tripod adapter has arrived.

My question is. If i want to use an extension pier would it need to be:

Eq6 tripod, eq6 extension, eq5 adapter, sky tee.

Or

Eq6 tripod, eq5 adapter, eq5 extension pier then sky tee.

Ive watched the videos on FLO that show fitting the extension but im a bit confused as the adapter only has 2 threaded holes next to each other and not 4.

You can use the EQ5 or EQ6 extension in the manner you have described. They are different lengths so go with which one works best for you.

Couple of pics of the EQ6 extension. I replaced the bolts at the top with thimb knobs to the top could be removed without tools.
