SW 72 ED and field flattener

Hi,

I am considering getting a SW 72 ED as a starter scope for learning wider field imaging (already have a 127 MAK on the AZGTI)

I will be using either my ZWO asi 224 CC or an Olympus EM10 M/43 camera.

Will I actually need a field flattener as they are both small chips or is there more to it. If I should get one which one ?

If they are not a package deal, then I would say get the scope and see how it goes. Post a few pictures on here and you will soon be told if they would benefit from the flattener. The only other thing is that the flattener is also a reducer and so would give your small chips a wider fov.

The flattener/reducer will mean that you are shooting at F4.93 rather than F5.8 so will help with imaging.
