I suspect a T adaptor is required...to go from the thread to the Bayonet fitting...

Steve should have been able to tell you...

Billy... i saw they dont do discounts on skywatcher products so i did not bother phoening Steve i bought it all on line and Helen is going to lend me a Tadapter for a while

Each camera manufacturer has ther own lens mount to get round this most people use a T htread on their optics and then you fit the right T adaptor for your brand of cameras... it comes from the days when independent lens manufacturers got fed up havign to make different lenses for each "brand" the T adaptor gives a fixed Mount-focal plane distance allowing the same T mount lens to be used on various cameras...
