Kev, Give Steve a call, tell him what you got, that you need the motor drive and some way to connect your SLR to the scope, he should be able to tell you exactly what you need, tell him your on SGL too.

i have a DSLR camera adapter witch came withthe scope i dont know if the cannon is going to fit as its noy arrived yet

its called a Direct SLR Camera Connection

Each camera manufacturer has ther own lens mount to get round this most people use a T htread on their optics and then you fit the right T adaptor for your brand of cameras... it comes from the days when independent lens manufacturers got fed up havign to make different lenses for each "brand" the T adaptor gives a fixed Mount-focal plane distance allowing the same T mount lens to be used on various cameras...
