Arp 173 - a galaxy with a tail

Martin's recent post of Arp 174 set me off to see if I could capture the tail from UGC 9561.  A much smaller and narrower tidal tail, resulting from the galaxy pairing interacting. It has been difficult to find out information on Arp 173 other than approx mag 15.

My capture just shows it.

C9/Ultrastar, 17 x 20sec subs, arcsinh and mean setting. A bit of tweaking in photoshop.

Nice catch Mike. I'd like to take a look myself when the mini-winter is over...

According to my Arp book  the two galaxies involved are

MCG+2-38-19 mag 15.6 1.2' x 0.2', type S?

MCG+2-38-20 mag 15.0, 0.6' x 0.4', type S0

and apparently there is also a much smaller plume coming from the brighter galaxy in the NW direction (more or less vertically up in your image). So that would make the tails head off in nearly opposing directions.

This is definitely one of the tougher ones.
