band of light pollution across the sky

help! there is a white band of light pollution across the sky all the way from perseus to cygnus! :-) No moon, biting cold, a bit windy (short focal length night...) The megrez is tracking, PHD is guiding and DSLR focus is capturing.

One of the better nights of lately so Im stil up. I am doing 4 and 7 minute subs at the flaming star nebula and have collected over 2,5 hours of data so far.

And the DSLR batteries are fully charged?

I have two battery packs and swap/charge. I can go all night .-) The only downside is that the battery lid freezes up on my 10D so I have to take it off the scope to replace batteries. That is a deadly sin as the flats I will take later will not match the light-train configuarion.... Doh.... Must get mains adapter for DSLR as well... :-)

I hope the night went well for you. My Canon battery doesn't like the cold so I've just ordered a 12V cable and adapter for it.
