Comet image

Hi all here is an image i took of comet Ikeya Zang as it passed by The Andromeda Galaxy.

This image was taken with a Canon AE1 SLR using a 50 mm lens piggybacked on a Meade LX10 (driven but unguided)

approx 5 min exposure on Kodak ASA 400.

How do i make this image bigger for you guys to view?

That's a real nice looking picture SkyGuy, nice work!

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm considering turning off the advert part on free users images when looked at through forums etc... Does the advert text at the bottom bug you and do you think it should be turned off?

Hi Grant

No i don't have a problem with advertising as long as it is not too intrusive to the images you are trying to post.

I would only have it turned off if and when we don't use the said site any more.

Thats an excellent image Jamie i like the way the comet complaments M31 with the foreground!

Thats a really nice image, i got a shot of comet Hyakutake somewhere,didn't catch nearly as much detail as you have with the tail.
