Here is my first go at processing this. Hazy sky = noise as I’ve discovered from reading other posts @Hallingskies as I worried sonething was wrong with the camera!

You're right about haze producing the loss of contrast and noise.  Nevertheless, despite conditions you have a fine image ?.
