Horsehead - Ha

Recommended Posts

I had a very quick and unplanned imaging session last night.
Basically, I'd not been checking for clear skies.. and last night was a beauty.
So after setting up and finally figureing out why my tracking had been off (completely wrong settings in EQmod and PHD2) I had an hour to image. ?

So, as Orion was glaring down at me I thought I'd give the horse a go and because the Ha filter was already fitted in the wheel. ?

Anyway, here's an hour of data. :)

*wave* from down the road in Buckshaw! Really lovely skies last night and a cracking image there, well done!

Have you noticed the horse seems to have taken offence to the constant photographic attention - or is it just me that thinks it's giving us a 'hand signal'? ?

Hello to Buckshaw! :)
haha, there does seem to be a finger in there. :)

The skies where great last night, we've had some really pathetic skies this winter and its been a crying shame. :(
Finally got my gear I love, and the mount working and tracking great... and no skies to shoot at!
I'll try and get out again tonight. :)
