I must admit that it looks weirdly awesome without stars. 

I always end up with little black holes in my images when I try starless renditions. How did you accomplish this?

I can see where the stars should be if I pixel peep but you have blended over them very nicely! I too get weird artefacts if i try to remove them. Also interested to know what spells and incantations you used.
