focusing software for canon 300d for MacBook air

hi, does anyone know of one? I am reading a book on astrophotography that recommended a website called dslrfocus.com but its no longer active, would appreciate any advice, many thanks jon

no good, I just can't find anything anywhere to focus a canon on a Mac, I would have thought it would have been quite popular, sometimes when I'm after programs or whatever i feel like I'm the only person in the world with a Mac ? nothing ever seems to be available

Difficult jonnydreads, I think you may even struggle with the 300D on windows.  You could try a bahtinov mask but the 300D has a small screen.

I gave up trying to do image aquisition using my MacBook Pro.   It's great for image editing though.

For the aquisition side of things, I bought a dedicated HP Pavilion I5 laptop.  I've taken trouble to put only astronomy software on it and it's used for just one thing.   I still remember the day I bought it in PC World, they tried so hard to sell me a copy of MS Office 365.   Then the sales peoples jaws dropped when I showed them what it was going to be for.
