Flame/HH Nebula ALT-AZ, Worth a try?

Hi all,

clear night tonight and just want to have some fun, do you think itll be worth a try to get only a couple of shots of the flame or Horsehead Nebula where they actually show up? I have a 6inch 1500mm ALT/AZ scope with a 1200d no filters. No I don’t want decent results and don’t care if there’s a slight bit of blue just want to see if it comes up at all!

If it's a tracking mount then give it a blast! Half the fun is in the attempt to capture!

I had a go and although my conditions weren’t great with haze, I somehow managed to get an outline of the flame! ?
