really pleased with my first night of clear skys. everything polar aligned really well and it feels so much more solid than the tripod.

Congratulations! Looks really good, Although I would be tempted to put some red LED's on some of those edges to avoid severely barked shins. I have tripped over that sort of thing in the dark garden and it bloody well hurts!
