Sound advice from everyone. I`ve got a 9.25sct on a AVX mount and although the weight dose`nt sound a lot, I had  kittens when first setting up the scope up trying to cradle  the scope onto the mount clamping down,balancing and I`m lucky to have an observatory to do leave it in; but to do every observing night. It`s a bit of an hassle for someone with limited movement. Des

It arrived today and it seems the sky will be 100% cloudy for ages according to the resources tab at the top of the page. ?

Nice clear sky tonight. Milky Way clearly visible. Far too windy though.?
