Horse Head

The other night when I was ripping my hair out with cloud etc I managed 3 x 5 min shots of the horsehead area, this is what I produced after stacking.

Total integration time ……… yes 15 mins.

I think the point im making is yes I understand now that a lot more data will give me a hopefully amazing final picture.

That's pretty amazing for 3x5 min. Did you use any calibration frames?

Cracking result for 15 minutes Stu A racing horse! Was that using a single shot colour camera, and what F ratio was it at?

Yeah next clear night. Re collimate scope and fingers crossed.

Still have to wait very late at night to view from my garden due to viewing limitations. Ie other houses.

Hi very impressed with that detail and very short exp, I have the QHY10 and will be having a go at the horsehead when the skies decide to behave themselves? well done!
