Got a C8

I needed a better tripod for my older GP mount and picked up this used C8 on a Advanced GT mount.  Scope seems to better than avg on the optics.  I had no need for the scope or GT mount head.  But fun trying it out.

I did a similar thing, I bought a lightly used 8SE to get the mount which enables other telescopes to be fitted. The plan was to sell on the OTA but it proved to be such a good one optically that I kept the whole outfit together. It now lives in Tenerife where it benefits from the better seeing.    ?
