Canon D60/DSLR Focus And Long Exposure Cable Problem.

Recommended Posts

I've borrowed an Astromiser long exposure cable for my canon D60 (N3 type) Along with a seriel USB adapter plug.

When i connect the camera with the canon digital USB cable DSLR focus recognises the camera and all is well with the short exposure box.

However when I tried to connect the long exposure cable Windows came up with the "New Hardware Wizard" And then the Windows cannot find the drivers associated with this hardware you hardware will not run properly..

And it won't allow me to do any long exposures...Or operate the camera with mirror lock.

Am I'm doing something daft?? or am I missing a bit of software somewhere..?

Greg
