Diagonal lines on flats - what's causing them?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting diagonal markings on my flats.  The longer the flat is exposed the more p.ronounced it is.  It is barely detectable for luminance (0.03s exposure), is very noticeable for Ha, worse for SII and dreadful for OIII (4.4s exposure). It's not visible on subs, and disappears if I calibrate and stack without flats.  I'm baffled and can't figure out how to get rid of it.  Has anyone else seen this, or any ideas how to eliminate it?  Flats were produced using a light panel, in SGP. Camera is a QSI6120.  Here are the luminance and OIII flats for comparison.

Looks like either light leakage or an unevenly lit panel...

Under what conditions were the flats taken, in total darkness, or other..

I guess that could explain it.  The scope was indoors, pointing vertically, with the light panel lying on top of the scope - but during daytime.
