PEC and Autoguide

Hello,

If I can I want to try recording a PEC graph tonight. When trying this, do I guide at the same time or leave guiding off until the PEC is complete ?

Two options:

1. To update the PEC of the mount, guide in RA as accurately as you can, either by RA guiding, or a reticle eyepiece and the handbox E-W buttons.

2. To record the mount's PEC on a PC for tweeking with PemPro etc and reloading into the mount, no guiding so that you record the actual PE.
