Came accross an article this afternoon with some video footage of the One Space suborbital launch, after looking into this Jilin- 1 Video Satellite I discovered a second video of it video tracking  an aircraft in real time, so simply stunning the imagry I thought to share these. 

The aircraft being tracked though clouds is at the end of the second video.

I want one of those, good for plane spotting! I wonder what focal length the on board cam operates at?

There are 4 of them, the lenses are pan chromatic and not many other specs are being shared. I'd imagin it's a multi sensor array behind that fancy lens using different reducers and chip sizes to electronically adjust fov/mag.
