I watched this documentary today.

The subject is Victorian machines but a large section of the programme examines the Leviathan Telescope which was a 72" F8.9 reflector built by the Earl of Rosse on his estate in Ireland. There are also multiple other references to astronomy.

Worth a look if such things are of interest ?
