Since the lunar eclipse has been clouded out for me I went through my archives as I was certain I had taken some "snaps" of a previous lunar eclipse...quite a while before I had taken an interest in astronomy of any kind. I wasn't sure when they were taken but luckily even in those days I used to name my photos by folder....plus the internet is a good resource for confirming it was indeed a total lunar eclipse...

So here's my lunar eclipse photo from 21 December 2010...complete with blown highlights....taken with a Canon 500D and Canon 300mm f/4 L IS Lens with 1.4x Teleconverter....2 years before I started the lunacy that is attempting astronomy in the UK...
