Hi everyone

Not easy this one, mainly trying to decide what the background should be like. With so many renderings in all manner of colours, some with and some without dusty bits, it's hard to find a reference. Anyway, all advice taken on board with gratitude, especially how to decide what is black and what is dust/gas.

Really nice is that the tulip Nebula? Looks good. Can I ask again are you doing this with a moon filter? For me as soon as the moon is out seems to be a waste of time with my CLS filter to go for faint objects like these. Come on Alacant spill !

Yes, the tulip.

No secrets! The moon had set but I'd left attached a cls filter without realising. Cygnus is a good bet, as the moon never gets too close. HTH.
