Telescopes and Joysticks

After reading about how the EQMOD software can use a joystick (or rumble pad) wired or wireless for controlling the scope, I wondered about adding the capability to my G11.

I think the best way of doing this would be to add the capability of joystick control to the POTH component of ASCOM. That way any scope that uses ASCOM would be able to benefit from the functionality.

I've made a start looking at the code and it doesn't look like it would be too hard to do (famous last words), but would anyone else be interested in this development?
