Micro focuser v helical focuser

Being considering micro focusing and whether helical focusers are better than added or built-in micro ones. 

Do Borg helical focusers fit other scopes with appropriate adapters? If not are there other makes that would?

For a helical focuser, does placement before or after a barlow, extender or other optic below an eyepiece matter?

I am used to helical focusing from photographic lenses & micro- focusing knobs seem small & fiddly, especially wearing gloves. So a big cylinder to turn, has an appeal.

Used one in a PST conversion I did a few years ago and it worked really well. However tried a couple of the lighter duty ones and wasn't so impressed.

There are so many Borg adaptors that it’s possible to fit the helical focuser to anything.
