Visual scope choice.

Decisions decisions.....cant decide on a 200pds on an eq5 goto....or a skyliner flextube 350 goto.

Purely for visual.

Ive had a 200p before on an eq5 goto and loved the bright wide views.

Anyone had experience of a 350 dob to compare it to a 200p?

Purely for visual?  There's no contest here, go for the dob.

I've owned a few 200P's and used a Flextube 350. Huge difference in physical size apart from anything else. A 200P is fairly easy for a single person to set up and move around as needed. The 350 dob is a 2 person job IMHO.

Don't know if that makes any difference to you ?

As Tim says though, the 350 dob will win by a big margin for visual use. Just don't underestimate it's size and weight.
