Mercury as Summer Evening Star

Elusive Mercury has commenced its apparition in the early evening western sky following its superior conjunction behind the Sun on 2018 JUN 05. The day-old Moon will appear to the left of Mercury after sunset this evening, June 14, while both are well to the lower right of Venus.

Photos and descriptions of Mercury during this apparition would be welcome additions to this thread.
