May 23, 2018: Appennines and environs

First image processed of today's haul. This was taken with my C8 and ASI178MM camera, stacking 400 out of 2000 frames. I took it after taking a series of 1000 frame sequences, which hopefully will be the basis of a 30-pane full disk mosaic. The seeing got worse as the session drew to a close, so the other data should if possible be a bit better.

That's a cracker, craterlets in Plato, a smidge of the rille in the alpine valley, facets on Mons Pico and that's just from first looking. I'll be exploring this one for a while.
