Elephant’s Trunk in Ha

tomato

Recommended Posts

After many frustrating weeks, a half decent session with Tomatobro’s Esprit 150 running on a Mesu 200. Much as I love galaxies the moon was still around so opted for the Elephant’s Trunk with a 7 nm Baader Ha filter, on a Moravian 8300. 8 x 600 sec subs, calibrated and stacked with APP, processed in Startools and PS.

Guiding was running at 0.75 arcsec total RMS, hence the bloated stars, at least for a narrowband image.

My granddaughter, being a big Harry Potter fan, would rename this the Dementor Nebula, I can see why. Thanks for looking.
