i just finished this sketch of lunar crater posidonius with tak 225 and 25mm zeiss abbe ortho.

seeing pooor hence use of low power

The seeing in my location is poor for the moon and jupiter tonight due to heat rising from rooftops.

after 11pm it gets alot better but the altitude of both objects does not favour late viewing.

i decided to stay at quite low power and sketch the general features,constant blurring due to the seeing precluded the fine details on the crater floor.

i hope to do more detailed observations when the situation allows.
