Hi all, I’m helping a friend out tomorrow with her EQ3 pro, she wants t guide with it...o.k. No worries....limitations with this mount but it’s a start!

so..my question is can the EQ3 pro use the eqdirect cable......??......I can lend her my ftdi cable is it can.

Ooooh I know this one!

The answer is Yes!  I have EQ3 pro and use FTDI cable no probs. One thought - my FTDI is for HEQ5 and this has same mount connection as EQ3. I think your EQ8 has same connector as HEQ5/EQ3 so should be OK, but the NEQ6 is different.
