Bobby1970
Taken last night with my Altair 72-ED scope on my Opticstar EQ goto mount and my Sony A57. 60x 120s subs darks and flats. DSS, Startools, Photos (mac) Polar alignment was pretty good according to sharp cap, i think i definitely need a flattener as some of the stars are a bit egg shaped. But overall i am fairly content with this as a first go at this target since i did about 10x 30s exposures on an alt/az goto mount many years back. Thanks for looking :-)

Have a go with StarTools' lens module. It works well in situations where elongated stars are predictably elongated. HTH.
