alacant
Hi everyone. This completes my set of M clusters in Auriga. It seems to have more but fainter stars than either M36 or m38. The exercise has illustrated just how little I know about the infinite number of variables involved in processing; the impossibility of being able to match screen colour between devices has been quite an unexpected blow to morale! OTOH, it's prompted me to dig a little deeper into GIMP. Anyway, it would be great to see other attempts at these clusters. Sharing tips, I learn so much your comments and posts here and I can't thank you all enough for the pointers which you give. Keep 'em coming:) Here's my latest attempt at getting blue stars blue. The irony being that this one really doesn't have much blue. Ah well... Any comments or advice -especially your own images of the same- most gratefully received. Cheers and clear skies.
