I had a look at NGC 2775 on wed 2nd March about 1.00am. Flippin cold!!!! Glad I had goto. Scope - nextar 8" Seeing and transparency both excellent.

It is a faint round fuzzy. Best view was at x80 with my 25mm EP. going higher didn't improve it. Other than being round it had no distinguishing features that I could could observe. Not an object I could get excited about except for the thought that is an extremely distant galaxy whose light has taken many millions of years to get here. That always sets me off thinking about the meaning of life and all that.

Having been uninspired with the visual I put my Atik 2HS in the scope and ran a 40 second exposure. It became a larger round blob with a bit of surrounding fuzziness. A bit like a drop of condensation.
