A few widefield shots from my garden

I had my old GP-DX set up in the garden last night in the expectation of a reasonably clear night.  I spent a lot of time letting my Skysensor 2000 system show me lots of celestial treasures, but also ran off a couple of dozen widefield shots with my modded 1000D.  Most of them are around 2 mins exposures.

Sometimes I wonder if I ought to get a bit more serious about this, but I have limited time and funds, so I tend to grab the few opportunities I get and just muck about with the kit I have.  But I'm blessed with decent skies here in Oxfordshire, miles better than SE London where I was for over 20 years.

Your sky does look quite dark, that's lots compared to what 2 minutes gets me.
