M27 through moonlight

Hi All,

Grabbed this on the 13th, while fighting moonlight!

C9.25 and modded Canon 350D

11 subs of 30 seconds each at ISO 800, unguided.

Stacked in DSS. Levels, Curves in PS.

Again plenty of green specks scattered throughout the image. I believe its from the bright light in my communal garden getting past the CLS filter. Cant turn the darn thing off; i am investing in an air rifle. Does anyone know how to get rid of these specs? Tried colour balance but it affected the nebula, so looking for a better solution.

Thanks,

Vincent.

Those are nice round stars so your mount is doing well at that long focal length. Nice core detail.

The ability to modify and delete posts is lost a short time after posting (4 hours I think) this is to prevent people changing posts which can make subsequent posts non sensical.
