a few shots from lastnight, seeing was quite good but a lot of light leakage from the moon.

kit 1200d unmodded, super tak 35/135 lens  whats over 50 years old.

That lens picks up the colours well.    Aldebaran is a nice smoldering orange, and the Seven(ish) sisters having that hint of high temperature blue. 

I felt the cold chill in the air last night, and seeing was good in the North.  Rogue clouds kept upsetting the long exposure sequences though...........    but it was good to get looking and imaging by   8 o' clock.... and not have to wait til some ridiculous hour to get under way.

thanks Sean, yes the pentax super takurma lens do show the colours well, there well worth grabbing if you get the chance, ive 5 of them ranging from 50mm to 300 and a zoom as well there all 50+ years in age. glad you had some imaging time lastnight, id been at it allday and most of the night. shame the moon was bright I could only do short expos. charl.
