EQMOD Meridian Limits and parking

Depends on what you mean by aligned. The meridian limits and park positions are "absolute" encoder positions that define an orientation of the mounts RA and DEC axis with respect to its tripod/pier (not the sky) - they are therefore not astronomical positions and so are not dependent on any star alignment. They do however need the mount to be either powered up in the home position or unparked from a previous park (so th encoders are preset to the correct starting position).
