A wide shot taken with my Samyang 14mm f2.8 lens and unmodded 700D, here's the Great Rift from Cygnus down to Serpens - thought to consist of about a million solar masses of dust.

This is about 50 minutes exposure in total, the artifact at lower-right is some trees and a couple roofs. The unmodded camera hasn't picked up much red from the NA nebula but you can still see its shape, it's near the top left.

I'm very happy with the image but it's not as impressive as standing in front of it, it can't capture the sheer scale of the two bright pillars in the sky.
