Weatherman got it right again, Calcium-K, 05/09/17

Hi,

The weather was awful this morning, I mean chucking it down, even the dog was fed up with the amount of rain.  So why did I pack my solar telescope to take to work?  The answer was the number of sunspots, the complexity of the spots and the fact that the weatherman promised sunshine.  Was he wrong, no, but there was too much cloud in the end for me to get Hydrogen Alpha, so had to settle for Calcium-K.

I would settle for these any day.

Nice work Robin. The busiest disk we have seen in months. I have my fingers crossed for the morning when the weatherman (or woman) has promised me a look at the Sun, we shall see (or not).
