Moon & Prime Focus 127Mak

Had a great time tonight swapping eyepieces and comparing my Refractor with the Mak.

This photo was taken with my Nikon D70.

The Mak and D70 are a great combo because the Moon really fills the FOV nicely.

I know for me as more od a DSO type its the enemy but thats a really nice image..

It would also colour up really well.

I had around three hours of absolutely clear sky , I've not had a night like that since May :shock: . It was just great to lose yourself without having to be bothered about .

I might add a little colour Billy would be good to experiment.
